New Security Guard Licensing
Length: 16 hours Days: Monday & Tuesday Time: 8:30am - 4:30pm Pre-requisite: none This class will teach participants the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional security guard. Topics covered include: legal powers and limitations, incident response, communication and customer service, patrol procedures, emergency procedures, and report writing. Hands-on training and real-world scenario simulations will be included to give participants practical experience. Upon completion, students will have a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of a security guard, as well as the confidence and ability to perform their duties effectively. |

Security Guard License RENEWAL
Length: 8 hours Days: Tuesday Time: 8:30am-4:30pm Pre-requisite: Current Guard License This class is designed for security guards who need to renew their license. The class covers updates to laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the role of a security guard. Participants will also have the opportunity to review and reinforce essential skills, such as incident response, communication, and report writing. Through discussion, case studies, and hands-on activities, students will leave the class with a renewed understanding of the importance of staying current in their profession and the knowledge and confidence to continue performing their duties effectively. Successful completion of this class is required to renew a security guard license. |

Armed Endorsement Course
Length: 8 hours Days: Wednesday Time: 8:30am-4:30pm Pre-requisite: Pending/Current Guard License Note: Student required to provide Firearm, holster, at least 1 extra magazine, 150 rounds of ammo This class focuses on the safe and effective use of firearms by security guards. Participants will learn about firearms safety rules, marksmanship techniques, and the laws and regulations regarding the use of force. Through both classroom instruction and hands-on training, students will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to handle and use firearms safely and responsibly in the line of duty. The class will also cover decision-making and de-escalation techniques to ensure that guards are equipped to handle potentially dangerous situations with professionalism and care. This class is essential for security guards who carry firearms on the job and is required for licensing and certification. |
